After 2 years of throwing the funkiest soul jams in the south in its home city of San Antonio, TX, the Super Soul Shakedown is finally heading to Austin, TX to team up with 2 of the south’s best acts & Shakedown alumni, Brownout + T Bird & the Breaks.

Come check out Brownout’s latin funk styling & be sure to check out their new album, AGUILAS & COBRAS, out on 6degrees records right now.

T Bird & the Breaks will also be re-releasing their modern classic “Learn About It” album on vinyl during the same night!

Since this is an official Wax Poetics event, there will be subsricption, record & book giveaways, to compliment the southern soul movement…and you should already know how JJ, Donnie & Scuba…them Super Soul Shakedown OGs, know how to ignite the dancefloor.

To put the cherry on top, Texas graffiti legend SLOKE will be rockin some live painting @ the event as well…good times await you.
